Tom:
Hi,
I was browsing through Flickr when I saw your photo of the Liver building and read your description…
“Iconic skyline that is about to change, they are building something in front of the three graces. ”
Don’t worry – they won’t ever build anything to block the view of the ‘three graces’, the construction you see is for the ‘Pier Head Canal Link’, which will be non-obtrusive. The only buildings which will alter the view are the Museum of Liverpool Life – a very short, white building and the Mann Island development – three blocks of black granite. Both of these developments are south of the Port of Liverpool building and so views will be preserved.
If you want to know more and share your photos look at this site: http://www.yoliverpool.com
The forum is full of scousers and ex-pats who love photograpy and want to keep track of developmets in the city.

Reassuring news Tom, and I shall pop a few pictures on the site you mention. Cheers.

Initially, Mark Bernstein mentioned you were using Tinderbox in interesting ways. Since then, I’ve read your blog for your pedagogical practice.

Tinderbox is probably the main reason I shall replace my iBook when the applecare runs out. Must renew my subscription.
